Daniel (Dan) Rafferty
2nd Mate

Before December 2021, Dan was sailing as 2nd mate on 90m dry cargo coasters, which carried all kinds of dry cargo from Scotland, England and Ireland to the Baltic.

 

Dan is from the same cadet intake as Mikey and he also undertook his cadetship with Zodiac Maritime Agencies, although Dan's time was exclusively on large 300m+ container ships.

 

Dan is originally from East Ayrshire and now lives in Edinburgh. He is keen to assist in the cooking onboard.
