Kat is Witherbys Commercial Director and will act as iCEO when Iain is away.
Kat will be keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes and is ASTRA’s nominated DPA ashore with the Marshall Islands flag State, where ASTRA is registered.
Kat is also the 1st point of contact and liaison with Andrew Weir Shipmanagement, who provide technical and port agency services for ASTRA.
She happens to be married to Iain!
Over recent months Kat has had particular input in assisting with the diet plan for ASTRA, and is working closely with Mikey on the food & nutrition strategy for the 5 month trip. Her aim is to get Mikey to a position at the end of the trip that he would be able to enter ‘Bake Off’ for bread week!
